There is a wide selection of attractions including Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar and Wookey Caves, Stourhead Gardens plus many other National Trust properties, Haynes Motor Museum and the North Dorset Trailway. Simply sit back and relax in the shared garden, or explore the local Somerset countryside.

This stunning farmhouse cottage offers TWO bedrooms: 1 master double and 1 twin bedroom. Shower room: with WC on the first floor. Separate downstairs WC. Lounge: this character room benefits from a large inglenook fireplace with woodburner, flatscreen TV with DVD and Freeview. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with integrated oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Outside: enclosed shared area with seating and BBQ, as well as the separate enclosed orchard. Amenities: off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating, logs and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking within the property. 1 well-behaved dog welcome more by arrangement. Location: beach 45 minute, shop and pub within walking distance.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We were made very welcome and enjoyed a lovely week in Ivy Cottage. The location was perfect for visiting a wide choice of National Trust properties and touring the area. Ive House Cottage is a very comfortable place to stay. Great hospitality. Glastonbury, Wells Cathedral, Stourhead, Montacute House, Bath all these great places are very close by. We had a really wonderful stay at the Ive House Cottage.

Lovely cottage in an excellent location for Stourhead National Trust House and Gardens. Good quality equipment. Great access to Bourton and Shaftesbury. We loved the art gallery and garden by Hauser and Wirth near Bourton. The owners, Dorothy and Adrian were so kind and helpful in every way possible. Ivy Cottage was perfect for our family and our Dog - Daisy! The couple who own the cottage live next door and were incredibly welcoming. The cottage is well equipped and cosy. There is a lovely field the kids are allowed to play in, plenty of nearby walks for the dogs. Location wise it is perfect for visiting loads of places. The cottage was charming as were the owners Adrian and Dorothy. Very well decorated and cosy. The equipment in the kitchen was fine. We have already recommended the cottage to friends and family.

No it was really lovely there was absolutely everything you could possibly need & the field next to the house was wonderful for dog walking. Owners also really helpful & friendly would highly recommend.
