This rural property is set within 5 acres of farmland next to an orchard and stream, lovingly restored with traditional features such as exposed stone and brick work, offering stunning views across the Somerset levels and Mendip Hills.

Located in a convenient and accessible location close to many places of interest including England’s smallest city Wells with its superb cathedral, Bishop’s Palace, moat and array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Glastonbury where you can climb the Tor and enjoy splendid views over the Somerset Levels or visit the ruined abbey. Further seating at the front of the property. Guests are able to explore the adjoining orchard and fully enjoy the peaceful rural location. Amenities: ample parking within a gated driveway. Marions Barn is in a lovely quiet location. Its very family friendly , we had two under 5s and two teenagers who all loved the property as well. Were a family of six and had ample space - my 3 year old daughter is asking when she can go back even though weve been home for three days. Ideally located for Wells, Glastonbury , Wookey Hole and Cheddar.Read more The owner was friendly and accommodating, and recommended a nice walk at Ebbor Gorge a short car journey away. The cottage is excellent for a party of six with a bathroom serving each bedroom. It was warm and cosy and the showers were spot on. The outlook to both the front and back was lovely with nice views across the orchard. We spent Christmas 2017 here 5 adults no kids plenty of space this place was ideal as it had plenty of bathrooms making life that bit easier for a family age ranging from 59- 88. Wells is a lovely city and with the bonus of the sea not being far away.

The barn has been very nicely renovated in a clean and modern way. It was well equipped with all the things we needed for our stay. Set back from the road it was private and quiet. The view across the levels was beautiful and one morning we even spotted some deer in the orchard. A lovely break in the countryside with easy access to Wells, Cheddar, Read moreStreet (including Clarks Village). Dartmoor and the Dorset/Devon coastline are all within a 1.5-2 hour drive (the drive itself being beautiful). Hide

Lovely accommodation in a very pretty place. Comfortable, mostly well equipped though missing some small items. Great for people with mobility issues as ground floor completely step free, only a very slight step into the property.

We have had a lovely weekend catching up with old friends in a great location for looking at the area.cheddar gorge was very expensive and very dated and tacky really disappointed with that. We will go back again I am sure .

Very good property plenty of room well equipped large kitchen. Good off road parking for a number of cars. We had a problem with the dish washer after a phone call a new one fitted the next day very good service by any standard. We have rented holiday properties for years and this is one of the best.

Beautiful modern fixtures and fittings. Excellent kitchen and utensils. Finished to a vry high spec. The best holiday let we've been to in the UK. Location is central to most Somerset places to visit. We would return again. We were very impressed.

A spacious, comfortable barn conversion with everything needed for a most enjoyable holiday. A lovely country location which, at the same time, is well situated for exploring the Somerset Levels, historic towns and villages and the Somerset coast.
