We searched for a dog friendly cottage I am so glad we chose Poppy Cottage. It was perfect - cosy and comfortable and with plenty of lovely places to go and walks on the doorstep. The food at the Masons was lovely and we could have happily eaten there all the time. Everyone very friendly. We had a four night stay but there is plenty to do for a couRead moreple of weeks. Slight drawback with the dog is that the enclosed garden is across the lane so we couldn't just let him out but we managed. Hide

Lovely cottage set in a quiet village, very close to amenities and around 15 minutes to Yeovil, definitely need a car but there are some good dog walks to enjoy, the location is brilliant if you want to travel to the coast around 40 minutes to west bay and 50 to seaton

We enjoyed our holiday in Poppy Cottage very much. It was ideal for what we needed, a cosy country cottage in a lovely village but handy to the town of Yeovil and beyond. Having the Masons Arms on the doorstep was a bonus.

Gorgeous cottage next to an excellent pub, and extremely dog friendly. Very comfortable bed, swish bathroom and all we needed to stay comfortably for the week. Lots of dog walk suggestions in the welcome pack, and extras available on request. Would 100% recommend.

A truly beautiful cottage set in an idyllic part of the countryside. Ideal for those who want to take in fresh air, stunning scenery and excellent food. If your idea of a perfect day is a walk through fields followed by a fine meal then this is the place for you.

This is a lovely, cosy and comfortable cottage in a perfect location, two doors down from the excellent and very friendly village pub, The Mason's Arms (who own the cottage). This means you can either cater for yourself (although the kitchen is compact it is well-equipped) or enjoy a delicious dinner at the pub. We also had breakfast on a couple ofRead more mornings which, as well as being excellent, means that you don't have to clean up the kitchen before driving home. Would thoroughly recommend. Hide
