Great stay short in the Red Door House. Good contact with the owner so no worries there. Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, beautiful garden in back. Recommend as the owner would to come down Exton Lane from the top of the hill (east I believe), but having been up this lane before its I knew it to be more exciting to have a go from tRead morehe bottom. Recommended if it fits you family or group size. Hide

A gorgeous cottage with a real family home feeling to it with a lovely garden and surroundings. We'll be sure to stay again in the future

Exmoor is gorgeous and the cottage was a pretty good one for the seven of us. It seemed a bit pricey but that may have been mostly to do with being chilly for the first half of the weekend. There were walks and lovely countryside nearby. We would recommend it but not unequivocally.

We had a fantastic weekend at Red Door House, we had quite heavy snow so couldn't get the cars out, but had a lovely meal in the Badgers Holt where we were made most welcome. The cottage itself was just right for us, warm with plenty of room.

This cottage was almost perfect. I have a disabled daughter, who comes with its own problems, but this cottage combatted almost all of them! The access is perfect, the amount of space is more than adequate for her to safely maneuver her wheelchair without danger of breaking anything. My only slight issue was that there are stairs on the ground flooRead morer which stops easy access to the garden, but we were able to manage. An Excellent cottage and we will book it again for next year Hide
