First-floor barn conversion property sleeping two guests, situated in the peaceful North Somerset countryside, enjoying panoramic views across the neighbouring fields from the private decked terrace.

This property enjoys a secluded location in rural Somerset, accessed via a mile-long private driveway on the owners land, which ensures that the guests can enjoy a private, uninterrupted break. Five miles north of the property, the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea has a huge expanse of sandy beach, which is a great place to visit in all seasons, whether for a day of sunbathing and swimming, or a windswept walk followed by a warming cup of coffee in one of the town’s cafes. Further afield, yet still within easy reach, the towns of Glastonbury, Weston-Super-Mare, and Wells are all within a half-an-hour drive away.

Arriving via the mile-long driveway, guests will immediately get a sense of just how private and secluded this property is. Once they arrive, a set of external stairs leads to the front door, which opens onto the main living area: an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a wood burner which keeps the whole property lovely and warm, even in the wildest of weather. There is a comfortable sofa and cosy armchair from which guests can enjoy the Smart TV/DVD, or perhaps curl up with a good book. On the opposite side of the space, the kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge with ice compartment. The property’s bedroom is on the same level as the living space, a peaceful and homely space with a double bed and large chest of drawers. The en-suite bathroom, meanwhile, offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Outside, accessed via a set of patio doors, there is a decked terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ, giving guests a lovely space to relax in the peaceful surroundings, and enjoy the panoramic views over the countryside and the fields belonging to the neighbouring farm. Guests also have access to the owners’ fields which provide a great place for exercising dogs. A secure bike storage is available for guests, and there is ample off-road parking.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

Nice welcome, lovely setting and property is just right for two, really clean and yet cosy. Great views from the decking, also view from bedroom window lovely to wake up to. A wonderful , peaceful location. Ideal for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. My dog was able to run freely through the fields away from roads and traffic with the owners dogs A great holiday for us all

Swallows Loft is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing break ,even though fairly close to the owners property, once inside it has a very private feel with uninterrupted views of the stunning countryside. Location was perfectly secluded In an idylic surroundings, The loft was spacious & comfortable. Great for the dogs too as all of the land was totally enclosed allowing them to run free in the surrounding fields

Beautiful location, plenty of places to go, Sand bay beach 15 min drive away, allows dogs, and has a National Trust car park also a lovely short yet stunning costal walk there. plenty of woodlands within the vicinity, owners allow your dogs to exercise on their fields which ours had great fun on. Really enjoyed our stay, this is the perfect location for serenity as the view from the deck is gorgeous. We were lucky enough to have visited during warm weather & the view was simply perfect. The apartment itself was nice and cosy, we had everything we needed and admittedly didnt feel the need to leave because we just wanted to relax.
