Five-star former-medieval hall sleeping eight, finished to a high standard with loving attention to detail, situated in the grounds of the owners property in the village of Moorlinch.

This property enjoys a rural location in the pretty village of Moorlinch, with the welcoming village pub just a short walk away. Those who enjoy spending time in nature and outdoor pursuits such as country walks and cycling, will love the fact that the property is just a short distance from the Shapwick Nature Reserve, and less than ten miles from the rewarding walk up to Glastonbury Tor. The town of Glastonbury itself makes a wonderful place for a day trip, with its atmospheric ruined abbey, legend-steeped Chalice Well Gardens, and its interesting range of unusual shops and independent eateries. Other places of interest in the area include the wide sandy beach at Burnham-on-Sea, the cathedral city of Wells, WookeyHole Caves, and the Clarks shopping village at Street.

Upon approaching this five-star rated property, it is clear just how much thought the owners have put into creating a relaxing and attractive holiday home. The huge open-plan living space, comprising a lounge/kitchen/diner, is unmistakably the heart of the property, with its communal areas making it easy to enjoy relaxing in the company of friends and family. The large windows flood the room with light, whilst the vaulted ceilings add an extra sense of space to this already impressive room. The dining area is at one end of the space, allowing diners to look out over the surrounding countryside, whilst the lounge area occupies the centre of the room and offers comfortable sofa seating, a TV, and DVD. The kitchen area, meanwhile has been well-designed and offers a double oven, hob, microwave, two fridges, a freezer, and a dishwasher, whilst a separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. Two of the property’s bedrooms are situated on the lower-ground floor, the first of which is a king-size room with an en-suite shower and WC. The second bedroom on this floor is a double room and there is also a bathroom with a bath and WC. The remaining two bedrooms can be found on the first-floor: a king-size room with its own TV, and a twin room. Meanwhile, the bathroom on the first floor has a bath, separate shower, and WC.

Outside, there are spacious gardens for guests to enjoy, which include a patioed seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ, an additional decked seating area, a large lawn, and a rose garden. There is ample parking.
