Superb property, spotlessly clean in idyllic setting and location. Owner on site extremely helpful but not interfering in any way. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at the Barn. Such a beautiful place, so well equipped (which often yoy dont find with holiday cottages), in a beautiful setting with owners who were so friendly & helpful. The local pub is also a cracking find; traditional English pub with great food at very reasonable prices. The Big Oak Barn was a great find, we had a loveRead morely tim. Ours was a family holiday encompassing 3 generations. My parents had come from overseas. This was the first time we had gone self catering, purely on the basis of our parents being comfortable and the food issue of being vegetarian. I did not anticipate hitting the bulls eye! This place is fantastic! The host Mrs Mary Roberts made us comfortable anRead mored ensured we settled in well. We as a whole family enjoyed our stay at The Big Oak Barn. Have already recommended the place to our family and friends. Hide

The owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The Barn was very spacious and well presented. The land surrounding the property was fantastic and the kids enjoyed going out every morning to see the Cows and Sheep in the next field. It was so peaceful !! i would definitely go back.
