Located only 1 mile from the Devon/Somerset border and 5 minutes from J25 of M5 it is conveniently accessible to Exmoor, Dartmoor, North & South coasts, National Trust properties and theme parks. Walkers can enjoy opportunities to explore the area on foot with footpaths and lanes leading from the cottage linking into nearby farmland, forests & wildlife reserves. Idyllically situated yet aptly described by one visitor as being 'in the middle of everywhere' it provides a restful haven to return to after a day out.

Enter the character property from the level, gravelled parking area and head into the large kitchen/dining area with a country feel perfect for family meal times. The kitchen is well equipped with a ceramic hob and double oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and DAB radio. You will also find a downstairs shower room with WC. From the kitchen/diner head towards the heart of the property, the lounge. This room benefits from patio doors that open out onto the patio area with stunning views. What a beautiful cottage! All the modern amenities (and more!) are present in this cottage steeped in history. Picturesque setting; lovely secluded back garden with views over the fields and rolling hills. Owners are also very friendly!

The Cider House is a lovely cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside with the most wonderful views. It is well equipped and has everything you need for your holiday. So cosy and relaxing to come home to. Hope to return soon.

Excellent view, good local walking (use the footpaths rather than the roads whenever possible!), access to lots of interesting places, very good history of the property provided, charming ducks and geese!

A lovely cottage. It is exactly like it shows in the pictures and proved to be a great base for us to explore Somerset (& Devon). The owners are nice and friendly and keen to offer ideas. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need. Washing machine is non - bio only but washing powder was kindly provided. Dishwasher tablets were alsRead moreo provided on our stay. A beautiful house in an equally beautiful setting perfect for exploring all of Somerset and Devon - a mile from the M5 - even Devon's west coast in less than an hour. We really wanted for nothing with great equipment, comfort, space and views from windows, living room and patio. Kids loved the duck pond, running out to feed them in pyjamas of a morRead morening.
