Well appointed cottage with welcoming and friendly owners on site. Excellent location for bird watching on the Levels, visiting Somerset's wonderful churches, getting to the county's NT properties and walking the Mendips, Quantocks and Polden Hills.

We had a very comfortable stay in the Garden Room in August and returned in November to explore Somerset. The cottage is well equipped, spacious and clean. The open fire in winter adds a special homely feeling and the conservatory overlooking one of the gardens is a lovely place to watch sunsets in summer. The location is perfect to explore Wells aRead morend local villages and towns such as Cheddar, Frome, Dunster etc. Bun and David are perfect hosts and we will be happy to return to the cottage again. An extremely friendly, accommodating host who made us feel very welcome. We were very last minute in booking, but this did not seem a problem at all. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and it had everything we could have asked for. Will definitely be returning.
