The appartment had everything we needed for our stay, including wellies for walking the dog in the morning! Meg was very friendly and welcoming and told us the quickest route to the Rising Sun across the fields. The welcome pack of goodies was a nice touch. The grounds were lovely to wander around in. The only down side was the noise from the road Read morewhich was noticeable from the bedroom. The location was perfect for walking to Pensford and also for exploring nearby villages without using the car. Hide

Lovely accommodation, very comfy bed, well equipped. The views and gardens fantastic. Purely from a personal point of view, the lounge furniture was a bit too low for us. Would stay again. Meh was a most welcoming host.

East wing of a Georgian house, warm cosy, fully equipped. Nice touch with the provisions left by the owner. Although she lived in the main house, you were left alone to venture round the 10 acres attached to the estate. Pleasurable stay, will go again in a few years.

The best holiday venue yet, just like Downton Abbey. Wonderful house, with views to die for. The attention to detail and the generosity of Megan was extraordinary...provisions that she'd left for our stay, baskets of logs for the log burner, fresh daffodils in the vase, the list is endless. Loved our time there. Thank you.

Quite remote. Perfect for us wanting a quiet relaxing walking holiday with our dog. Beautiful countryside and the grounds of the house are beautiful too. Bath, Wells and Bristol are a short drive away. The local village of Pensford is very picturesque and The Rising Sun pub very welcoming and dog friendly, serving good food.
