DETACHED BARN IN PEACEFUL VILLAGE CLOSE TO COAST AND EXMOOR

This spacious property has been converted from an old saddlery and is approached over a small bridge, retaining many original features yet providing a contemporary feel.

The beaches at Dunster, Blue Anchor Bay and Minehead are within a few miles with Minehead offering a wider choice of shops as well as Butlin's at Somerset World. The cottage is situated within Exmoor National Park, famed for some of the most breath taking scenery in the south west and a haven for walkers and wildlife. The Medieval Town of Dunster is merely an hours walk or 10 minute drive, with it's variety of quant shops and cafes together with the must see Dunster Castle. Other attractions include the Valley of the Rocks, West Somerset Steam Railway, Lynton and Lynmouth with its water powered cliff railway, and the Brendon and Quantock Hills.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size and 1 twin. Bathroom: with roll-top bath, separate shower and WC. Separate WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with woodburner (first basket of logs included) and TV/DVD. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: enclosed garden (gated shared access across rear path) with garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: roadside parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, night storage heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Location: beach 6 miles, pub 2 miles and shop within walking distance.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Clean and cosy cottage with everything we needed when we got there, especially the bottle of wine. Beautiful views of the hills from our bedroom window, would love to come back perhaps next year as a week was not enough

The Saddlery is situated perfectly for trips to the coast and inland into Exmoor. The cottage has a fine kitchen, very comfortable beds and a relaxing front room. Recommended unreservedly!

This cottage was just what we were looking for: quiet location in a cosy village, nearby walks on the moors and attractions like Dunster Castle, comfortable for spending an evening at the cottage. Friendly and helpful host!

Upon arrival we were thrilled with the Barn, the only negative was the windows needed cleaning. The Owners were very generous leaving us milk, wine and even Easter Eggs, a lovely touch. Unfortunately I suffered back problems as the week went on and the Kingsize bed I slept in really aggravated it, so I was in pain and couldn't go out much. We did cRead moreall the Owner out as there was a problem with the Hot water tank and He came out and was very helpful and offered to get someone the next day. Hide

We stayed at the cottage in February and were able to make use of the excellent wood burning stove. The central location close to Dunster was perfect for a superb break.
