The cottage is in the middle of a working trekking centre so early starts with the horses wake you up. The village of Wellow which is about a 5 minute walk away is lovely and the Fox and Badger pub serves really good food, particularly good value at lunch time.

Fully equipped, with a lovely feel. The ability of cycling into Bath without going on a Road is a great bonus. The cottage is in the middle of a busy riding school, and farm, which is full of activity during the day, but peace and quiet can be found just a couple of minutes walk or ride away, or you can exercise the kids on the large kids play areaRead more. The on site cafe serves lovely food, and the Fox & Badger serve excellent food, and well kept ales. Overall a wonderful family cottage. Hide

We had a great holiday at the Little Smithy. The property was great, very well equipped and comfortable. The complex was good for probably older children and if you are horse mad it is heaven. The only thing missing was some private outside space, but this was obviously not possible with the situation of the property. Everyone was helpful and frienRead moredly, take your bike as the cycleway was right outside. The Riders Rest Cafe looked lovely although closed for a refurb for most of our holiday Hide

Location was perfect, Bath 20 mins away, (Good park and ride). Good walks around and Pubs. Staff on site were great. Facilities were perfect. The animals were all friendly and the petting zoo was fabulous (Especially for 2 year old granddaughter, and not so young daughter in law)
