TUCKED AWAY POSITION WITHIN ONE OF WILTSHIRE’S MOST DESIRABLE VILLAGES

This 16th century house offers characterful accommodation and is located just a short walk from the village centre with its shops, cafes and pubs. Batheaston nestles at the end of the Cotswold Way and offers a wealth of picturesque walks.

Batheaston is just a 10 minute drive to the historic city of Bath with its famous Bath spas, theatres, race course and rugby ground and makes a wonderful base from which to explore Somerset and the Cotswolds. Enjoy beautiful walks or bike rides into the city along the canal path, or take the boat from Bathampton Mill allowing you to see Bath from a different perspective. With a regular bus service from the village and the train station just 2 miles, why not catch a train to the thriving city of Bristol just 30 minutes away. There is a host of popular attractions to explore, Longleat, Lacock, Stonehenge, Stourhead, Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge to name but a few.

This four-storey accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: approached via steep cottage-style stairs, on the second floor, 1 king-size with en-suite shower and WC with sloping ceiling and 1 double. On the first floor, 1 twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size on request). Shower room: with shower and WC, on the first floor. Lounge/diner: with woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV, DVD, music system and garden views. Kitchen area: with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Snug area: with seating located above the kitchen approached via stairs. Outside: enclosed garden with patio, grassed area and shed for storing bikes. Amenities: off-road parking for 1 car, further roadside parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Additional bedding will incur a charge. Regret no smoking. 1 dog by arrangement. Location: shops and pub within walking distance. Arrival: 3pm

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Beautiful cottage, Lovely Location! Would defiantly recommend!

The house is full of character, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The garden is well maintained and lovely and the opportunity to benefit from the vegetable patch is a rare treat. A lot of thought has gone into making the property special for the guests. Tall visitors need to beware of a couple of low ceilings
