Wellfield is a lovely cottage. It is comfortable and well equipped and very suitable for someone with limited mobility. We really enjoyed being on the smallholding with the chickens, guinea fowl, geese, duck and the very friendly goats. They all kept us entertained! We had a super holiday.

The bungalow is comfortable and clean. It has an unusual configuration with a lot of doors, but overall works fine. The livestock provide enormous entertainment value which we greatly enjoyed (various fowl & goats). However although the garden is secure with regard to dogs getting to the stock, various stock members visited the garden. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that's quiet but in easy reach of lots of places to visit, then this is perfect! Lovely little cottage set in the middle of beautiful countryside on the edge of a small holding. The Lady who owns the cottage is very friendly but not intrusive. Just the other side of the gate are 3 very comical Goats, 2 GeeseRead more, Guinea Fowl, Chickens and a Duck, all of whom come to say hello and make friends with our dog Stan. It was just what we needed. Hide

A very cosy comfortable cottage set in beautiful countryside. Fantastic spot for bird watching from the comfort of a cosy settee. We used the cottage to visit, Street for retail therapy, Wells for history and Weston-Super-Mare for our seaside "fix". We were blessed with gorgeous weather and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

My Wife, Daughter, dog and I had a fantastic time at this property. Only a 10-15min stroll down to the local village (where both pubs serve good food). Everything you would need is in the cottage. The clean rooms are of a good size and all of the beds were comfortable. The real highlight is the lovely location. It is quiet and pretty and the only vRead moreisitors are the geese, chickens and wonderful goats. Great place with a helpful but unobtrusive owner. Will hopefully stay again. Hide

Enjoyed a lovely week with the grandchildren and puppy. I took advice from comments on the website and brought a lead for the garden as there were times when the chickens and guinea fowl came into the garden tantalising our dog! Very peaceful with lovely views. Would like to book again.
