This delightful property is set in the heart of the New Forest National Park, surrounded by vast open spaces with stunning views, designated footpaths and cycle trails where you can see donkeys, New Forest ponies and often wild deer

Attached to the owners’ home yet offering a good degree of seclusion, this contemporary annexe is set in a village location in the heart of the New Forest. Frogham is a peaceful spot surrounded by spectacular countryside where animals roam free. With a pub on offer and a plethora of routes nearby that are ideal for walking and cycling it is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday. Both Ringwood and Fordingbridge are easily accessible from here, where you can enjoy an afternoon exploring a choice of boutique shops and cafes. This picturesque area has an abundance of pretty towns and villages to explore, or why not take a trip to the coast at Milford on Sea or Lymington.

From the gravelled parking area a small path leads you around the annexe to the private entrance, which opens into a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The contemporary kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, fridge and a microwave. Overlooking the garden, this bright and airy room is the ideal spot for relaxing after a long walk in the surrounding forest and offers a TV and DVD. The double bedroom leads off of the lounge area and has an en-suite bathroom, with shower over bath and WC.

Venturing outside you will find a large private, enclosed lawn with patio, BBQ, garden furniture and a garden shed available for storing your bikes or outdoor equipment. To the front of the property is a gated parking area for 2 cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Excellent location, perfect garden for our 2 pugs. Pub across the road, dog friendly. Shops 2 miles away. The annex was very clean and perfect size for us. Would definitely stay there again

This is a really good property in a nice village on the edge of the New Forest with great walks. The owners have provided everything you need for a relaxing holiday and it is ideal for dogs. The Foresters Arms could not be closer and is extremely dog friendly. We will certainly be returning in the future.

A wonderful week - much more than a holiday home. Relaxing and peaceful and truly dog-friendly and safe garden. Beautiful area with direct access to heath and forest for walks/cycling. Pub opposite, donkeys and ponies at your gate were, of course, just an added bonus. We intend to go back there.

Beautiful home from home. Everything we needed was found in the Annex. Welcome pack was a perfect touch and the owners respected our privacy throughout our stay, but were on hand to offer help or advice when needed. Dogs had a wonderful time however there are horses and donkeys very close to the property and so dogs were on lead quite often.

The cottage was ideal for us as we like to take our dog on holiday. There are very good walks straight from the door and these gave us opportunities to encounter ponies and deer and meet local people who were very friendly and helpful. Abbots Wells Annexe is everything you could want from a holiday let. It is very spacious and comfortable set in beautiful tranquil surroundings. A dog and child friendly pub, serving good pub food, is within yards of the cottage but it is no disturbance at all. There are some very pleasant local walks in the surrounding area. Very clean,comfortable,hosts very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Great that the pub, which is very dog friendly and does excellent food is just across the road. Great location for New Forest walks and close to beaches and lovely towns and villages. Lovely to see the donkeys and horses pass your cottage.

Lovely well equipped accommodation with a good sized secure garden for the dogs. Great walks from the doorstep into the forest. Pub very nearby which was friendly and served lovely food. Would definitely recommend this property If you want to enjoy the experience of the Nee Forest.

Lovely Annex in heart of New Forest, a real gem. Perfect for our two dogs who loved the secure garden and the walks a few minutes away on the heathland. So good that we booked again in September. Colin and Ann very friendly and helpful. Ces and Sheila East Dean near Eastbourne.
