Nestled amidst the outstanding natural beauty of the New Forest, this property is a wonderful rural idyll positioned in the charming hamlet of Godshill. Guests can enjoy wildlife in abundance, right on the doorstep.

A charming and spacious large holiday cottage in the pretty hamlet of Goshill, with New Forest ponies found at the garden gate. There are fabulous cycling and walking routes straight from the doorstep with routes for all abilities available from gentle strolls to more serious rambles. The riverside town of Fordingbridge is about two miles from the cottage and offers a supermarket for picking up essentials and a selection of independent shops. Further afield are the larger towns of Ringwood and Salisbury. On evenings you would prefer not to cook, the Fighting Cocks pub is a two minute walk from the property and there are an array of outdoor pursuits available across the New Forest for the whole family to enjoy.

Complete with a sunny conservatory and secluded garden with furniture and BBQ, there is parking for four cars and plenty of spots for relaxing and unwinding with pretty garden views. The open plan kitchen and dining room is large enough to accommodate the whole family and oozes country style with an electric range cooker and refectory style table with enough seating for ten to gather around and enjoy a home cooked feast. There are doors leading out to the bright conservatory and a handy ground floor WC and utility room equipped with essential facilities also. The open fire in the sitting room is a cosy feature for relaxing in front of, and the 40” flat screen TV is great for a family movie night. The accommodation offers FIVE bedrooms: on the first floor you will find one master bedroom with a double bed, one master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom and a further bedroom with one single bed. One twin bedroom on the ground floor. The family bathroom upstairs benefits from a bath, WC and a separate shower cubicle. There is also an additional separate WC upstairs.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Spacious house with plenty of room for 8/9 adults. Beds comfortable and nice soft towels supplied. Plenty of good pubs,Indian restaurant and Chinese takeaway all within easy reach.

The cottage is well situated, without the dreaded tiny country lanes and pot-holed tracks that lead to some properties. It's a very comfortable and spacious house, with plenty of room for a family. The kitchen is really large and quite well-equipped, and the dining table easily seats six (or more). House was spacious - there were 4 adults and one child and a dog enough plates, cups and glasses and few essentials left for our arrival. Chairs in garden good conservatory was great but really attracted flies etc. so best to clean each day

We went to Forest Corner with our Family of 9 adults 1 is a teenager ! and a dog to celebrate Mums 80th, its plenty big enough while still retaining a comfy homely feel. We were a family of 6 plus dog staying for a 60th celebration, aged 14 to 60 and every one of us fell in love with the house and its setting! The house is spacious and charming in every way and being able to walk into the forest from the house, never seeing cars or other people, just horses and donkeys, was truly special. We had a fantastic stay at Forest Corner for a friends 60th Birthday. Lovely cosy spacious house. One thing to mention is that there was a huge pile of logs we could use but no kindling, fire lighters or matches to light the fire. But all in all a fabulous stay. Thank you for having us. X

It suits us, as a three generational family with young children perfectly. Just the right configeration of bedrooms, and accessibilty to the swimming pool at Sandy Balls a big bonus for the children, walks galore for the more active and Salisbury down the road for those in need of retail therapy....Friendly and helpful owners.
