A wonderful cottage in a lovely village in the heart of the New Forest. Ponies and Donkeys walk past the cottage everyday and we had 40 deer running past us in the village one afternoon. The owner left us a bottle of Champagne to see in the New Year, which was a special touch. 10 minutes drive to many walks in open forest and open heathland close tRead moreo Linewood. The Royal Oak pub is less than 10 minutes walk from the cottage and if you can get a booking, you need to try the Red Shoot pub. Hide

A lovely cottage offering every comfort you could possibly desire. The soft blanket on the sofa was a real plus as was the provision of a free parking card. The owner of the cottage was both extremely friendly and very helpful and her home made scones and clotted cream were perfect.
