Perfectly located for trips to the New Forest and the coast, this is a bright and spacious character cottage in a quiet residential area, with pubs, cafes, shops and Lymington marina all within walking distance.

Ideally located for exploring the village of Lymington with its marinas, picturesque cobbled quay and Georgian high street, this character cottage is also a great base for exploring the New Forest. Beaulieu Village is a great start, within a fifteen minute drive, and is great for pony spotting, cycling, riverside walks and picnics. The New Forest visitor centre at Lyndhurst, Furzey Gardens at Minstead, and Palace House all offer interesting days out in the area too. If you fancy a night off cooking, there are plenty of fabulous eateries listed in the guide at the cottage and a particular favourite is The Haven, a five minute stroll from the property.

 Light streams throughout the kitchen/dining area with its large windows and crisp interiors. Equipped with all the essentials this is great for preparing a feast and catching up with the family over dinner. The living area boasts a cosy woodburning stove for chillier evenings and a DVD library, Freeview and flat screen TV for entertainment. A wet room with shower and back door access to the garden completes the ground floor. On the first floor is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with one single bed with views over the garden. The family bathroom is also on the first floor and features limestone flooring, a good sized bath with shower over, and a WC. With narrow stairs leading up to the second floor where there is a third bedroom with two single beds.

 Parking can be found in the residential road outside and there is a pretty patio garden with furniture and a sun parasol which is ideal for a spot of al fresco dining.

This cottages is in a great location, about a 7-8 minute walk to the High Street and 3-4 to the harbour. The street and area are very quiet. The sitting room is cosy and the kitchen / dining area more than big enough for a family. The heating and hot water were great. The shower was of a good strength. Also no issue with the Wi-Fi.

We had a great stay in the New Forest. The cottage was beautiful and in a fantastic location. We don't have any children, but would have been great for a family as was very child friendly (stair gates, high chair etc). Cottage was very well equipped- had everything we could possibly need. What made it great though was that on our arrival we had beeRead moren left wine, fresh bread, orange juice, milk, biscuits, butter, eggs and jam!! Very pleased with the property, lovely and clean and perfect for myself, my husband and daughter as well as my parents. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed days out to surrounding areas but also enjoyed walks around Lymington, visiting the various pubs, shops and restaurants that it had to offer.
