Unwind in this charming former chapel. Take time out to relax in the stunning open-plan space or take a walk in the beautiful countryside surrounding the village.

Set in a peaceful location within the fragile landscape of the New Forest, this characterful building has an abundance of charm. The pretty village of Woodgreen has community shop and a pub and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it the ideal spot for walking and cycling. Many picturesque towns and villages are easily accessible from here, including Fordingbridge and Ringwood, which both offer a great selection of cafes, shops and restaurants. Heading further South from the chapel is the coast. Sandy beaches can be found at  Bournemouth, Mudeford and Highcliffe, making them popular destinations for a day out by the sea. The cathedral cities of Salisbury and Southampton are within easy reach for a spot of retail therapy.

From the parking area to the rear of the chapel a small pathway and steps lead you to the rear entrance. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer can be found just inside the door. With space for muddy boots and paws it's the ideal spot for unwrapping after those winter walks. Just opposite is a contemporary bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. A step down brings you into the fantastic open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, this room is the perfect social space as it is warmed by underfloor heating and has character features in abundance, including vaulted windows and galleried bedrooms above. The stylish kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. With an inviting dining area just opposite, you can enjoy relaxed meals here. In the lounge area relax on the comfy sofa and enjoy a film on the TV/DVD. A separate WC and steps to the front entrance can be found at the end of the lounge area. Two individual stair cases lead from the lounge to the open mezzanine style bedrooms: one a king-size and the other a twin. Both bedrooms benefit from privacy screens.

Heading outside from the rear door you will find an inviting patio, with garden furniture and gas BBQ, its the perfect spot for enjoying a drink or meal outdoors. There is off-road parking available to the rear of the chapel for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A lovely spacious quality dog friendly property, well equipped. Washer and dryer in utility, so we returned home minus the mountain of dirty washing we usually have. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful recently converted chapel. Loved staying in this converted chapel. The owner Jenny was very friendly and made our stay very relaxing. We were made welcome in every way. The chapel was extremely comfortable spotless. Tastefully decorated, which has also given us some ideas!!. We were able to cook for the family very well as the kitchen was very well equipped. We stayed at The Chapel for 3 nights. Jennifer is a wonderful host and made us feel really welcome. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and located in a great spot but also within a short distance of larger towns. We had a fabulous stay at The Old Chapel. It was immaculate, comfortable and in a wonderful setting. Jenny was great. She made us feel welcome - including our pup who took a real shine to her. We would have stayed longer had we been able, but we are already looking forward to our next visit.

A beautifully finished property inside and out! A really spacious living area with an added bonus of a second separate WC. This certainly comes in handy especially when youve tried the shower its blooming marvellous!! But if you need to soak your tootsies after a long walk the deep bath is more than adequate. This is a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. The Old Chapel has been restored to the highest standards and is positively idyllic. The owner is attentive and charming and made us feel very welcome indeed; including dog treats. We will be returning at the earliest opportunity!
