This charming wing is part of a larger Edwardian property, it sleeps four people amongst two delightful bedrooms and is a short drive down to the Isle of Wight coastline with fantastic sandy beaches.

Surrounded by seven acres of lovely garden, this quiet and secluded accommodation sits in a stunning countryside location on the outer edges of Wootton. It has wonderful views across gardens and fields where you can catch a glimpse of the nearby sea. It’s less than a mile to the coast, providing the option of a short drive or pleasant walk. There are cycling trails and the local attractions include Osborne House, the Isle of Wight home of Queen Victoria and the Steam Railway. The sandy beaches of Ryde and Appley are close and lovely places to relax with a good book or paddle in the sea.

After entering through an impressive drive, step into the West Wing of the property and feel instantly at home. It has been simply and traditionally decorated to ensure a comfortable stay. The kitchen and living area is open-plan and contains an electric cooker and grill, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is also an attractive dining area, comfortable seating and TV/DVD, making this room the perfect place for everyone to gather together each morning or unwind at the end of a busy day. The two bedrooms are charmingly decorated, one room is a twin and one room is a double. Each bedroom has its own private en-suite shower room and WC. One of the double rooms includes a spectacular view of the lovely countryside stretching out to the sea in the distance. Doors open onto a sunny terrace. On the ground floor there is also a cloakroom with WC, basin and washing machine. Doors from the main living room open out onto a shared terrace for guests with outdoor furniture for enjoying meals alfresco and a lawn for playing games.

The extensive gardens include fabulous lawns at the front of the house and shrubberies and stone pathways to the rear. Birds, red squirrels and rabbits can be spotted in the garden, which is home to local wildlife. Off road parking is available for two cars and there is regular transport and a shop close by.

Beautiful house set in peaceful grounds. The west wing has all the basic things you need for a comfortable stay and is central to lots of places to visit.

This cottage is in a lovely ,peaceful location with great views from the windows. Very spacious , very good shower plenty of hot water. Lovely views from all the windows. Comfortable bed in master bedroom.

Fabulous surrounding gardens and countryside. Very quiet.

This was a great location near to the wightlink ferryport at Fishbourne. The house was a wing of a much larger mansion and the garden area allocated was great for the children to play football and other games. There were pleny of nearby attractions such as, the IOW steam railway, the butterfly farm and many footpaths for walking.
