The other side of the sitting room is the inviting kitchen, which has been decorated in a classic farmhouse style. The upstairs bedroom leads through to a newly fitted en-suite bathroom. You can relax any stress away in this stylish bathroom with luxurious roll top bath, which also has a separate double shower and hand basin and close-coupled W.C. all with Victorian style fitments.

Outside, steps down from the decked area lead to a paved patio, complete with outdoor furniture, pretty potted plants and a parasol for those sunny days. The grassed garden beyond is ideal for dogs and leads to a second decked area with additional seating.

We booked this beautiful cottage as our honeymoon location with our 2 little dogs and it was above expectations, everything had been thought of including a welcome basket for the adults and treats and water for the dogs. We had a wonderful stay at Ashenden. The beds are incredibly comfy, the welcome basket second to none. The cottage is seriously well equipped & so so cosy, we felt at home straight away. The only drawback is the parking & the traffic but that's because we live in France and are not used to cars anymore. All in all a very enjoyable stay in Ashenden.Read more Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashenden. The house was really well presented when we arrived, warm and all the lights on. We really appreciated all the christmas decorations around the house and especially in the dining room as it had all been laid out ready for eating. we could also see that you had recently bought some new glasses. Also you left so much lovely food for us to eat and the bottle of Moet Chandon was amazing!! We really appreciated you providing a dog blanket.
