This beautifully restored first floor Victorian apartment offers all of the grandeur of its past while catering for today’s lifestyle, the perfect blend of old and new. A great choice for large groups and families.

Located just across the road from the beach, this Victorian apartment is perfect for families wishing to celebrate a special occasion such as Christmas or Easter. The shops, restaurants, cafes and bars of Hastings are just a stone’s throw away while St Leonards is home to antique shops and vintage galleries. Keen walkers will enjoy exploring the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the many chocolate-box villages to be found there.

A traditional hallway welcomes you into this property, and a superb Victorian staircase takes you up to the first floor where you’ll find a spacious family room with the kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The kitchen is spacious and full of light, with a central island and views towards the sea. Here you’ll find an electric oven and hob, washer/dryer, microwave, coffee machine, fridge and fridge/freezer and dishwasher. After you’ve finished preparing your meals, head to the dining table, which seats eight and looks out across the green, before retreating to the lounge area with its ornamental fireplace and comfortable sofas, TV & DVD player. The first bedroom is located on this floor, which has a cast iron king-size bed and en-suite shower room with large power shower, WC and basin, and there is a further bedroom with double bed which shares the family bathroom, which has a shower over bath, basin, WC and bidet. Travel further up the staircase, past the stunning original stained glass window, to reach the second floor family lounge. Offering panoramic sea views through French windows out to a balcony with outdoor table and chairs, this calming space offers comfortable sofas and chairs, a place to unwind in front of the TV or with a good book. There is a third bedroom with double bed on this floor, and, in the eaves, a charming fourth bedroom with twin beds and shower room with walk in shower, WC and basin. There is a double blow up bed available for an additional bedlinen charge.

The second sitting room opens out onto a small balcony, the perfect space to enjoy a glass of wine or morning coffee admiring the breathtaking view. Many spectacular sunsets over the sea can be enjoyed from this very spot. Guests should also make use of the small putting green directly opposite the property as the owners have supplied a small selection of golf clubs and balls. There is a large area of lawn opposite the property which is just perfect for summer picnics.

As a group of 8 ladies we thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend at this very comfortable quiet house. Positioned away from the hustle & bustle of Hastings, but with the availability of buses if you need them. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, soaking up the sun, beautiful walks and great beach coffee bars. Very comfortable & great amenities

Great place for a family break, located right on the seafront. Our 4 year old loved watching the boats and the buses outside from the kitchen and lounge. Parking can be difficult, but we knew that from other reviews, and you can always park by the beach after you've dropped off and unloaded.

Nice, comfortable and spacious house but It is on a very busy main road. There is a disabled parking space outside the property but there was a car permanently parked there which obviously had not been moved for a while. We had a blue badge holder and some times had to park quite a distance from the propetry which was difficult for our elderly pareRead morent. Hide

We had a lovely time in this apartment. Lovely room sizes, comfy beds and nice decor, plenty of crockery. Bear in mind that there is no allocated parking so there were a couple of times when we returned from a night out that we had to park about 5 to 7 mins walk away.
