A perfect smaller modern cottage that was warm and cosy. We really enjoyed our visit and the facilities were excellent. It was a truly memorable holiday with the heaviest snow fall for years resulting in us being unable to leave until a local farmer had bulldozed a path. Luckily our hosts (Jane & Peter) were fantastic and helped us so much - thank Read moreyou. Before the snow came we were able to visit Arran, Loch Lomond and Irvine beach. Would recommend all of these for trips. Hide

We loved the cottage, inside and out; the welcoming hosts and welcome gifts; the situation - with gorgeous rural views from every window; the well equipped kitchen; the generously proportioned shower room and the enclosed garden (for our pet Greyhound).

What a lovely place to stay for our adventures in Scotland. The cottage is immaculate and was just what we were looking for, and the hosts are lovely and helpful. Although where the cottage is located is very quiet, it also provides good access to so many areas due to the proximity to the major road network. We will definitely be back.

Extremely clean on entry. Owners always meet on arrival, show you round the property and explain everything to you. We no longer need the tour as we have been 3 times in the last 2 years. We go into Beith every morning for the papers, whatever shopping is needed (really good mini-market in the village - Co-op more expensive) then buy our cream cakeRead mores for the day at the Bakers. lovely views over the fields and hills (in the distance). This was a beautiful and romantic holiday cottage. It was our first visit to Scotland and we were a little disappointed in the location as it was a lot more remote than we thought. However we couldn't fault the quality of the accommodation.

This was an idyllic location for a holiday. One is in the middle of nowhere with cows and sheep for company. The hut was beautifully presented and so cosy and comfortable. I was looking for peace and found it. Lovely walks. I recommend The Loch House, which serves hearty food after a five mile walk there.

Brilliant cottage, everything you need and more! Location is very peaceful, with some inquisitive cows in the neighbouring field which were very friendly. Well stocked leaflets that really helped us plan our days out. Although it is called 'Wee House' it doesn't feel small at all and is very well planned out. Highly recommend.
