The house is lovely and we were very comfortable there. We were, however, surprised to find the 'shared garden' was the surrounding overgrown churchyard. Didn't realize we had to share it with the long departed!

This unusual property was delightful to stay in for the week. The house has been renovated to a high standard and had everything we needed. We did have some teething problems with water and drainage but the owner sorted these out quickly. Everyone in our group enjoyed the atmosphere and comfort of the house.

Excellent accommodation for a bigger group with plenty of bathroom space and loads of lounge area too. Beautifully renovated/decorated. Its in a very small and quiet village/hamlet. We found lots of places to walk the dogs but some people may find it too remote/quiet. We all had an amazing holiday at Cummertrees Church. When we arrived it was spotlessly clean, had everything and more that we needed. We especially liked how old parts of the church had been retained to add character. We would not hesitate in booking the church again if we visit this area again. Thank you.

We found the local area to be very beautiful, but you do need to be prepared do a lot of driving as places to visit are quite a fair distance apart and with few amenities. I'm not sure I would bring very young children, the locRead moreal beach is very clean and pretty, a little more than a short walk and although you can drive down there is very limited parking and no facilities.
