Close to the historic picturesque town of Biggar, with an array of fascinating museums, Victorian puppet theatre, quirky shops, friendly inns and quality eateries to enjoy. The cottage is also ideally placed to visit the border towns including Peebles and Moffat. With the wonderful cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh also within easy reach, with their fantastic leisure and shopping facilities.

Entering the charming period cottage through the hall, into the light and bright lounge with TV/DVD and wood burner, perfect for relaxing in the evenings after a day out exploring the local area. Next door, you will find the lovely double bedroom, enjoying front garden views. Leading back through the hallway into the spacious dining room with TV/DVD, dining table, perfect for family gatherings and French doors leading out to the patio and rear garden. Followed by the bathroom, with a shower over the bath and WC. Next you are met with the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, with rear door access to the garden through the handy boot room, a perfect place to store outdoor clothing. Heading up the stairs to the landing, you will find two lovely stylish, spacious double bedrooms and single bedroom, all with fantastic rolling hill and countryside views. So clean you would never know dogs are allowed here. Fantastically equipped, stunning location (so easy to get to from the motorway) so many walks to do with maps & details at the property so no advanced research required. Love the fact its enclosed, the welcome hamper of essentials an appreciated touch. The best holiday home we have ever rented, sRead moreo peaceful and so comfortable. A fantastic home that the owner has equipped with everything one could possibly need or want, including for the dogs. The games room is fantastic, clearly new toys and games for The kids which also includes dressing up outfits. Very hospitable owners, wonderful rural location with lanark only been a 20 minutes drive away - for ALL of your needs. GaRead morerden is VERY secure for dogs, often places say secure garden and they aren't, this IS :) we highly recommend. Hide

If you are happy to get away from everything this is the perfect place for you. Lovely cottage in remote surroundings, very comfortable. The owner was always available should we need her which was reassuring. I would highly recommend this property.

We wanted a peaceful, rural and scenic cottage with awesome views over countryside and this is exactly what we got. The landscape is terrific, with sheep, cattle and rustic hills to gaze over. The walks are from easy to tough, so can suit all abilities. The cottage is within easy driving reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh, yet in the middle of the counRead moretryside, with no-one around.
