The market town of Abergavenny is within a 10 minute drive with shops and pubs, or Monmouth can be reached in around 20 minutes. Day trips to see the Mappa Mundi in Hereford, or the 30+ book shops in famous book town Hay on Wye are well worth it too. With the Brecon Beacons National Park and Forest of Dean within easy reach, there's a wealth of great days out and adventure just waiting to be discovered including Monnow Valley and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Wye Valley. Also there are several Norman Castles within the area, Whitecastle, Grosmont Castle and Skenfrith are three of note. Play facilities: boules, cricket, balls and swingball.

Just come back from a lovely weekend with the family, there was 13 of us in 3 large sarfari tents, well spaced out, in lovely surroundings. The beds are so comfortable and we had everything we needed. We loved the woodburner and would definitely go back. It is a really nice way to camp. Francesca is lovely and made us very welcome.
