Walk through the grand portico and doors into the tiled hallway with dramatic staircase. Georgian period features are throughout the house with panelling, fireplaces, over-mantels, floorboards and unique artworks. On your left is the formal dining room, perfect to gather round and enjoy a meal or a game of cards. After dinner head to the fascinating library, with 15th century panelling, comfy sofas, wood burner and a superb selection of books. To the right you can view the museum Chinese room with 18th century wallpaper, or head back to the comfort of the lounge with a choice of sofas, TV/DVD, open fire and lovely views of the garden. If you decide to eat in the kitchen/breakfast room have all the equipment you need to prepare a delicious meal, with electric oven and hob, Aga, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Along the corridor is the large shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. All the bedrooms have been refurbished to enhance a good night’s sleep with lovely views to wake up to. There are six relaxing bedrooms, on the first floor two doubles, one king-size with en-suite shower and WC and two triple rooms (with single beds). Up a separate staircase to the attic retreat is the sixth bedroom with three single beds, though mind your head on the door as you enter. Unwind in a bubble bath or take an invigorating shower whilst your thoughts drift through the day’s activities. There are two bathrooms, one with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC and one with a shower over the bath and WC. This historic stately house has home from home comforts and is full of all the thoughtful little extras to help you enjoy your holiday.

The gardens and grounds are breathtaking with a private walled garden perfect for ball games, BBQ’s and relaxing. There are 40 acres to explore including a walled kitchen garden, orangery, rock garden, grotto, water gardens, lake and woodland. A plethora of table and chairs in numerous spots around the grounds to enjoy al fresco dining whilst embracing the wonderful surroundings and views. The River Rhiw runs through the grounds into the River Severn with private fishing available. There is ample parking to the front and rear of the house. Please note the caretaker is on-site though privacy is assured.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
