This cosy detached cottage is in a prime location for the Brecon Beacons National Park. Surrounded by the Welsh hills, it has its own private garden and hot tub with far reaching views.

The local village of Tretower is within 2 miles and is home to a castle, and a trip over the hill will also take you to the lovely Talgarth Mill. It is a great location for heading off to Hay-on-Wye, browsing in Brecon or stocking up in Crickhowell. The Brecon Beacons National Park is perfect for walking and cycling and the Rivers Usk & Wye are both nearby for fishing.  Day permits for the Usk are available in Crickhowell and canoes for the River Wye can be rented in Glasbury. This charming cottage has its own parking and entrance and sits within the grounds of the owner’s property, although your privacy is respected at all times. Leisure facilities: private hot tub.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 twin (with restricted head height), and on the ground floor you'll find 1 king-size bedroom.   Shower room: with shower and WC. Lounge/diner: with woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV and DVD. Kitchen: with oven and hob and American style fridge/freezer. Outside: enclosed garden with BBQ, garden furniture and hot tub. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking. 2 small dogs, 2 medium dogs or 1 large dog welcome. Additional info: welcome pack on arrival. Location: pub within walking distance. Arrival: 4pm

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

SLEEPS 2 - 4 : Two bedrooms, a king-size master bedroom on the ground floor and an upstairs twin bedroom. Bedding, towels and bath robes provided in the master bedroom.

RELAXING : Great living space, with large sofa, tv, dvd, wood burning stove with basket of logs/kindling on arrival. Please note that there is no internet access included at this property - ideal for a technology cleanse!

COOKING & DINING : Large double oven range cooker, American fridge freezer, cafetiere, breakfast bar, plus dining table and chairs.

USEFUL THINGS: Welcome gift on arrival. Basics included, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, sugar, washing up liquid. Childrens books and toys in twin bedroom. Local guide books and information leaflets.

OUTSIDE SPACE: Secure garden with barbeque, table and benches, parasol, private large spa style hot tub.

PETS: Well behaved dog/s can come to stay, (2 small, 2 medium (Springer Spaniel or smaller) or 1 large (Labrador or bigger), no paws in the bedrooms please.

SETTING: The cottage is detached with its own private garden, parking and entrance, it sits within the grounds of the owners property, although your privacy is respected at all times.

MIND YOUR HEAD: The upstairs twin bedroom is within the eaves of the cottage, the beds are full sized single beds, however the head height is low and more suited to children.

Fantastic location and lovely cottage. Remote location providing seclusion and privacy with a fab hotub and great countryside views. Highly recommend a visit - we had a fantastic time. Lots of local walks and a great pub in walking distance from the property with a soak in the hotub to look forward to when we got back! The cottage is perfect for a secluded little getaway. Great for our dog, enclosed garden and in a great location to go on some mountainous and long walks. The hot tub was a relaxing place to spend the evenings. Highly recommend this cottage!

We had a cosy and comfy stay at Millbrook. The location was great - in really good reach of local amenities and tourist destinations, as well plenty of bike riding and walking on the doorstep. Nice cottage if you want to be secluded. Our toddler loved the sheep in the field close by and we loved the hot tub at night. Some nice walks close by. It was a bit too secluded for us in the end with a little one. More suited to a couple or family with older children.

Amazing location, and extremely romantic setting for our mini-moon. Entirely private and uninterrupted despite being on owners property. The hot tub is a brilliant touch and wonderful to sit out there on even slightly chillier evenings. Lovely kitchen set up for big meals and home cooking, but also located near a locely area of Crickhowell with somRead moree great pubs and restaurants, and only 20 mins in the car to nearly all recommended dog friendly big walks in the Brecons. We had the best NY break; thanks so much to the owners for facilitating. We anticipated the cottage to be lovely but, put simply, it surpassed all expectations and made for the perfect NY holiday for the 4 (and dog!) of us. A beautiful cottage in the middle of nowhere but close to everything! Stunning views, clean and cosy, on the owners land, but at no point did we feel our privacy was invaded. Would definitely return!

Lovely welcome from Bev with a few essentials to stock the fridge. Cottage was beautiful and the hot tub a treat to enjoy come rain or shine. Secluded but an easy walk to the local pub for a lovely meal, and close to other sights in Brecons.
