We were a group of eight friends who stayed in Shoppe Barn for new year. We had a lovely time. The barn is just lovely and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed exploring outside. Just be prepared to go down some narrow tracks to find it! Thank you to Vicky for a wonderful stay!

This is an exceptionally well appointed barn conversion in a very quiet rural location. Equally well suited to a family with children or a group of adults. Good walks direct from Shoppe Barn plus free access to neighbouring fields. Short car journey to reach Brecon Beacons and other local attractions, including Ewyas Harold Common.

Excellent cottage - tastefully decorated, great location with the fields just behind, spotlessly clean and with lots of little touches that we appreciated (the welcome basket, soft/thick towels etc). It is a little way out, but that is exactly what we wanted. Days spent exploring the local towns and area, walks with dog in the fields accessible froRead morem the property, and evenings spent playing games with the log burner on. The children loved the rope swing too. Hide

We were delighted with Shoppe Barn. It's been beautifully converted and furnished, with lots of space for our group of seven. We enjoyed the wood-burning stove and loved the surrounding countryside (I grew up near there). It happened that most of our long weekend was very rainy and windy. We just donned our wet weather clothes and made the most of Read moreit, and the children had lots of fun on the rope swing. The lane up to the barn is narrow and you might have to reverse if a car comes the other way. Hide

This is a truly lovely barn. Really well appointed with everything you could wish for. Lovely large seating area in the kitchen for communal dining (with every pot, pan and utensil any keen chef could need) and a gorgeous lounge with plenty of comfortable seating, a huge TV and a good selection of board games, books and TVs. A great base for a hibeRead morernating retreat or a base for the fantastic walking in the Brecons. Hide
