A pair of delightful cottages set in the Brecon Beacons, with beautiful walks right from your doorstep, the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid providing breath-taking scenery. Abergavenny offers a host of festivals and markets to compliment this pretty town and is just 2 miles. Hay on Wye is 20 miles. The cottage has a warm and cosy feel to return home to after a visit to the excellent country inn nearby.

A pair of super semi-detached, stone cottages, refurbished at the end of 2016, providing a charming holiday destination along with an excellent contemporary finish. Approached up a leafy lane with mountain views this is an idyllic rural location with many places of interest nearby.

Pantygelli is a sweet village in the Brecon Beacons, close to Blaenavon World Heritage site. Country and mountain walks are right on your doorstep, with the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid providing amazing scenery. Just 2 miles to the historic town of Abergavenny full of shops, pubs and restaurants, with regular festivals and markets. Nearby you can visit galleries, museums, historic castles. Interesting days out at Blaenavon Iron Works and The Big Pit or perhaps try star gazing at the Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre. Plenty of activities to enjoy including riding, golf, kayaking on the Usk and Wye or a visit to Hay on Wye, the town of books, which is 20 miles away.

Outside: enclosed patio garden with furniture. Amenities: ample private parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome. Location: pub within walking distance, shop 2 miles. Arrival: 4pm

The accommodation is an attractive semi-detached cottage all on one level offering ONE bedroom: king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request). Shower room accessed via lounge: with shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with TV, DVD, double sofa bed and  doors to patio. Kitchen area: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with ice compartment.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Superb location if you like quiet in the country which was why we chose it. The owners were very helpful and friendly. There is a pub 5 minuets down the road with great food and ales and also very friendly. The cottage has everything you could hope for and more, ie. bread, butter, milk coffee, tea, sugar, condiments, sauces and more.

We had a lovely week at this cottage we were made very welcome and the welsh cakes, milk, bread and flowers were a nice touch. Our cockapoo loved the enclosed outside area and it was so handy to have the big field next to us for him to have a run in. It is very close to Aberygavenny and the Brecon Beacons for days out.

Good comfortable cottage, stocked with the essentials for your first night. The owners are very friendly and aprochable. 5 minutes walk to the Crown pub for meals and a few drinks.

The Stable was extremely clean and well equipped. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent for walking in the surrounding hills and a short car journey from the town where there are plenty of options for eating out. The Crown Pub, which is a short walk from the cottage, is lovely and cosy with good pub food.

Great little cottage for 2 and a dog. Well equipped and comfortable. Good location for walking and exploring the Black Mountains and handy for the lovely town of Abergavenny. Good real ale and food in the village pub 5 mins walk away.
