GORGEOUS BOATHOUSE RIGHT ON THE WATERS EDGE IN SNOWDONIA NATIONAL PARK

A unique and quirky detached property, refurbished in 2016, nestling on the shoreline of a tidal estuary in the owners 4 acres of beautiful gardens. With breath-taking waterside views, slipway and private beach on the fringe of Arthog.

Close to the historic market town of Dolgellau and the coastal village of Fairbourne boasting a steam railway, summer water taxi to Barmouth, pubs, restaurant, shops, sandy beach and craggy cliffs. Join a myriad of footpaths or cycle routes along the coast, Mawddach Estuary and the countryside in Snowdonia National Park. With so many activities from swimming to sailing, fishing to horse riding, walking to cycling and the host of attractions to visit such as King Arthurs Labyrinth, Portmeirion, the zip wire and Bounce Below, there is always something to see and do. A perfect location to explore the best North Wales has to offer. Leisure facilities: cycle, kayak and boat store available.

The studio-style accommodation offers: Lounge/kitchen/diner/sleeping area: open-plan with woodburner effect electric fire, TV and DVD. Sleeping area has double bed. Kitchen area, with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Shower room: with shower and eco-WC (non-flushing). Outside: viewing terrace with patio furniture, beach with BBQ and lawn with garden furniture. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, electric heating and Wi-Fi included. Additional WC outside the property for guest use. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Location: on the beach, pub and shop 2 miles. Arrival 4pm.

Loved our holiday stay in the boat house. Perfect welcome and care of us. Beautiful, quiet and rural location. Lots for us to do and explore because we like being active outside. No problems with anything. Word love to return.

The situation of this property is its strong point. It's right next to the sea on a beautiful estuary with stunning views from large windows and double glazed sliding doors. The owner Frances and partner Paul were friendly and helpful. The highlight of the holiday was a wild swim in the estuary with Frances. Great location for a restful break and being at one with the elements. We loved the wildlife and the ever changing landscape, also great knowledgeable hosts, who also respected our privacy. Loved the fresh flowers and wine on arrival, with the arrival of fresh flowers half way through the week.

Breathtaking views of the estuary and surrounding area with an abundant array of wildlife literally on your door step. Attentive hosts who made us very welcome. Eco loo is a challenge but otherwise highly recommended.

This amazing property is set in the most beautiful setting. If you are after a location with an ever-changing view you will get it at Bryn Celyn Boathouse. A cosy property, which provides comfort and excellent views from both inside and out, allowing you to watch the array of wildlife and truly relax. The location of the cottage is stunning! The scenery and views from the cottage is even better, overlooking Snowdonia national park and the huge mountains, best of all you are situated metres from the sea. The tide bringing in a wide variety of fish life, a chance to see the ever so shy Otters and the birdlife in the area is a watchers dream. The location is stunning , and leads to a truly relaxing holiday brake . You could stay all day and just watch the wild life . The Cambrian railway line is close by and is an absolute must do train trip , really good value to . The next must do is to go pony trekking on the beach.

This is an amazing location and needs to stay a closely guarded secret! We had everything we could have wished for: comfort, beautiful views, wildlife to observe, easy walking distance to Barmouth and the weather was so good that we were even able to have a swim. if you want hustle and bustle this place is not for you, this cottage offers the complete opposite without being too remote.

We've enjoyed everyday of being in the Boat house, even on a cloudy day the views are still amazing, every window offers a picturesque view. There are lots to do in the area but the Boat House have everything you really need. Frances and Paul have been gracious hosts throughout our stay. This boathouse is just perfect it was comfortable, cosy, warm, romantic, everything we were looking for we loved it so much. Two miles or less on foot takes you to Barmouth great little restaurants serving great food. Really recommended a visit to this boathouse it was brilliant

Really enjoyed holiday. Views were fantastic, boathouse was brilliant, location was stunning. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and happy to help. Good base for exploring area, although with the peace and quiet of the house, we spent a fair amount of time just enjoying the wildlife, views and the fishing We will be back
