The house is full of period appeal with beams and interesting features on the windows and unique doors going through to the cosy lounge with wood burner, comfy sofas, Smart TV, Smart speakers and superb views from the window. The little snug has another TV and coal effect electric fire, perfect for games or to enjoy a good book. As you head up the staircases, there are two, with one at either end of the building, you are treated to glimpses of the family history. The four bedrooms all have a different feel with a spacious twin, single with a useful single sofa bed, a king-size and the stunning contemporary four-poster king-size. There is a large shower room with power shower and WC and a separate bathroom with enticing roll top bath and WC. The property has home from home comforts, steeped in history and a delight to holiday in.

Outside, there are treats galore in the enclosed walled garden, half an acre to enjoy with numerous fruit trees, plants, lawn and exclusive hot tub. The paved terrace with large marble topped table and chairs, honeysuckle covered pergola, hammock and outdoor sofas is perfect for alfresco dining, relaxing and embracing the wonderful surroundings and views. There is ample off-road parking in the garden.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

What a find - an amazing house in a beautiful setting! Owner made us very welcome and was just lovely. Enjoyed admiring the scenery from the hot tub! Will definitely book again.

Wonderful settings and great views from the garden. Great service from the owners when we had an issue with one of the w.c's. Cottage was cosy and all the facilities/amenities top notch and a very comfortable bed!

The most spectacular house and location; must be seen to be truly appreciated. Having stayed in many holiday homes, this one was one of the best in terms of its luxury whilst still feeling like a comfortable home from home.
