Fabulous period cottage with sun terrace, garden and sea views on the edge of Bethesda, perfect for two or four to explore the countryside, coast and culture in North Wales and Snowdonia National Park.

Bethesda offers a local pub and shop with a plethora of good restaurants to choose from within easy reach. Visit Zip World or Surf Snowdonia, Caernarfon or Penryhn Castles, the Secret Gardens or National Trust’s Plas Neuadd, go underground at the Slate Cavern or to Electric Mountain. You could even take a boat trip or a ride on Snowdon Mountain Railway. Pop to the nearby towns of Llanberis, Capel Curig, Betws-y-Coed, Bangor, Caernarfon and Anglesey with their attractions, harbours, shops, galleries, eateries, activities and events. To your left is the stunning dining room and kitchen with access to the sun terrace and lovely views towards the Menai Straits. If you decide to eat in the kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher alongside all the thoughtful little extras creating a lovely space to cook in. The dining table is the perfect setting to savour a meal, catch up on your news and plan your activities for your holiday. After dinner, continue through to the lounge with feature fireplace with wood burner, comfortable sofa and chairs and unique stained-glass feature, and relax, maybe listen to music, lose yourself in a good book, watch a film on the Smart TV/DVD. On this floor you will also find the fabulous king-size bedroom with French doors to the sun terrace and the stylish shower room with shower and WC. Upstairs on the first floor is the second spacious king-size bedroom also with fabulous views towards the Menai Straits, and the bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, enjoy a leisurely bubble bath in the freestanding bath or an invigorating shower in the separate shower.

Enjoy the sunshine on the bench in the pretty front garden, relax on the sun terrace with table and chairs or head off into the secret garden with dappled shade, babbling stream and enjoy al fresco dining on the paved patio with table, chairs and charcoal BBQ. If you are bringing your bikes or canoes there is ample storage in the lockable garage. There is also parking for two cars at the property.

Cottage was very homely and comfortable. Walks were literally on the doorstep and views from bedroom windows were awesome. Patio was a real suntrap. Very quiet and peaceful and the Secret Garden was a real Wow!

It's an absolutely beautiful cottage, the photos do not do it justify - it's so much better in the flesh! The location is very good just a few mins away from the A5, lots to do nearby. When we arrived the cottage was very clean and we had a lovely welcome pack with nibbles and drink. The cottage is extremely well equipped and had everything we needRead moreed. Wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. You can see mountains from the front of the house and the bay and sea from the back of the house! Lots of walking straight from the doorstep. We visited zipworld, waterfalls, beaches and mountains over Easter. Stayed with our 2 children and our dog. Great to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom as the staRead moreirs are steep and might not be suitable for older folks. What a wonderful cottage. We felt so at home here, it was well equipped, very clean and very comfortable. It's in a great location, amazing walks right on your door step and driving over to Anglesey only takes 15 mins. The owners are very welcoming and considerate too.

Superbly presented, immaculate, well equipped cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daffodil Cottage from the moment we arrived to a delightful welcome basket and a bottle of wine in the fridge with a welcome card and the text from Sue when we were leaving to wish us a safe journey home. A clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage with all you could want for a week or two's break. Despite the cold weather we were warm especially when we had lit the wood burner (it lit easily). The decorations were first class and tastefully thought through. We hope to return sometime.
