Betws-y-Coed with historic bridges, waterfalls, river pools and hill top lakes, is full of outdoor activity and craft shops, galleries and pubs. Enjoy walking, climbing, kayaking, sailing, and fishing in breath-taking scenery. Visit historic towns Ruthin and Denbigh, have a day trip to Barmouth for fabulous beaches or take the challenges of GYG Karting, Snowdonia’s Cader Idris, Surf Snowdonia and the Zip World Caverns. This really is an all year round destination.

This former stables, with full aspect window, is full of interesting objects, stylish features and stunning rural views. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is welcoming and cosy with the sofa to cuddle up on and watch TV or a DVD, sink into the armchair in front of the fire with a good book or just admire the Welsh countryside. If you decide to eat in the well-equipped kitchen area, with breakfast bar, has all you need to prepare a meal from the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher to all the thoughtful little extras creating a lovely space to cook in. Meander up the stairs to the luxurious double bed with freshly laundered linen, soft dressing gowns and towels. The stylish en-suite has a large shower and separate WC. Perhaps you could take morning coffee in the private patio area accessed down the external staircase from the bedroom.

Up the private drive, past the owners home the property nestles on the gravelled courtyard with superb countryside views. Enjoy alfresco dining in the private raised patio area with table, chairs, charcoal BBQ and pretty border with lovely views. There are also a number of shared places to sit and relax in the 9 acres of grounds, maybe picnic by the standing stones or at the top of the garden near the trees. If you are bringing your bike there is a lockable store and outside tap with hose available. Plenty of outside space for your canoe or kayak. The spacious, vaulted ceiling games barn is also accessible from the courtyard and offers a wide range of fun activities to enjoy, including Free View TV with large wall projection, Nintendo Wii, darts, table tennis, slate bed pool table and high quality hi-fi system. Electric car Tesla charger on site. Ample private parking on site, within walking distance of the property.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £70 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Friendly hosts, great facilities, a very cosy cottage with wonderful views. The hot tub was easy to use and makes for a magnificent relaxing holiday. The newly renovated games room is excellently themed and makes for a perfect area to unwind. Really appreciated it being dog friendly with areas for dogs to run off lead too. The cottage was lovely and fully equipped we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location, beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful, the owner was there to greet us and explained how to use the hot tub she was very pleasant, I would definitely recommend staying in this cottage.

This is a lovely cottage to stay in,beautiful surroundings furnished and equipped to a high quality. There are two cats who live in the owners house on site and it was nice to see them occasionally. Very peaceful and comfortable stay.

The cottage was excellent in every way and exceeded our expectations. Our stay there was enhanced by the friendliness of the owners, Gail and Jerry, who are unobtrusive but on-site and who go out of their way to ensure that everything is done to enhance the enjoyment of the property and the splendid location.
