We had a lovely stay at Otters Mill. It is a uniquely interesting building very well placed for the numerous activities available in Snowdonia. It has some quirks, being an older building, but nothing major. We had a fun packed week, but ran out of time to do everything. The weather was beautiful, but there are plenty of undercover activities for rRead moreainy days. It is mining country after all. Hide

Lovely 16th century cottage full of charm and charisma of the period. Well equipped comfy and cosy. Possibly a few ghosts in dark corners ;) The gardens are outstanding and very well kept. Owner is a really nice guy whom is on hand to help out if needed, although leaves you in peace to enjoy your privacy. This is a really lovely holiday home. Quirky, lovely old historical building that feels homely. Dogs welcome and our two loved the size of the lounge and dining room. Well placed for touring and the children loved Chester zoo (approx 1hr away) and the north coast, Snowdon, and the scenery in the area was spectacular. Lovely character property, beautiful old beams and huge fireplace. Plenty of space for our family and dog. We all enjoyed our holiday and felt the location was good. Helpful owner. The garden was a feature in itself, with ponds and river alongside. Our children wanted to stay!
