We wanted to revisit Snowdonia having spent several holidays there. The property is in a small village which has no shops. The nearest shop and pub are some distance away, which meant driving a lot. But being somewhat older, we should have investigated a bit more before booking. But having said that, a lovely cottage.

Great cottage for a rural getaway, located in a small village local amenities are limited but are available in local towns when out and about. The cottage is well equipped but did feel rather cool in the evening until the log burner was fired up. Overall good value in a quiet village location.

A beautifully renovated cottage. Lots of character with a log fire and a lovely stained glass window. The underfloor heating was a luxury.
