Ideally placed to explore North Wales and the Cheshire border, set midway between the seaside town of Conwy with medieval castle, and the beautiful walled city of Chester. Explore Mold with its street market and Theatre Clwyd, historic towns of Llandudno, Ruthin, Denbigh and St Asaph, all offer a range of shops, attractions and eateries to enjoy. Visit Greenfield Valley Heritage Park, Bodelwyddan Castle, National Trust’s Bodnant Garden, the SeaQuarium and Welsh Mountain Zoo. Hang up your coats in the porch as you enter this cosy terraced cottage into the lounge with feature fireplace, wood burner, TV, DVD and local artwork throughout. The dining table is well placed by the window to embrace the view over the garden whilst perusing local maps or enjoying tea and cakes. If you decide to rustle up a meal with local produce you have bought on your travels, the kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer and microwave. The utility room, with washing machine and tumble dryer, also houses a small library of books to read during your stay. If you want to relax in a bubble bath the bathroom, with shower over bath and WC, is on the ground floor. Up the steep staircase you can choose from one double bedroom with feature fireplace and views towards the Clwydian range or the spacious single, both have been designed for a good nights’ sleep.

The garden to the front of the property is sided by hedges with a cobbled patio, table, chairs and BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining. The bench by the window is perfect for morning coffee and to watch the birds or if you prefer just relax on the lawn with a good book and embrace the mountain views. To the rear of the property you will find the log store. Private parking for one car and further on street parking available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

This cottage had all we needed for a great holiday. Location was quiet, scenery was great, bed comfortable and shower very good. Ideal for the dog with some great walks from the front door. And if you wanted to have breakfast made for you you could walk 50 yards to the craft centre

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. It is in a pretty location which is accessible to all parts of North Wales which we enjoyed visiting. The garden is south facing and has the sun all day. It was lovely to arrive to a bottle of wine and some delicious biscuits, a very nice touch. The short break was very relaxing and its location was superb for all of our needs - peaceful and local to amenities. We could not fault the cleanliness, comfort and equipment. Very well equipped cottage in peaceful location but with easy access to other parts of North Wales. Almost every type of incidental had been thought of which was fantastic. Lots of books and maps of walks and things to do in the area which was very helpful. Cottage was very clean and quite spacious. Very well kept garden which is south facing.
