STYLISH AND SPACIOUS COTTAGE WITH BREATHTAKING VIEWS

REGRET NO CHILDREN

This traditional Welsh stone cottage within the grounds of the owners' home is simply charming, having been renovated, yet retaining its exposed stone walls and wooden beams.

Throughout the year the area is packed with things to see for that unique experience. Directly opposite is Kenfig Nature Reserve which is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and offers various activities including bird watching and hiking. Well placed for a number of attractions, mountain biking at Margam Country Park 1000 acres of countryside with a castle, deer park and visitors centre. Bryngarw Country Park with woodland, lakes and a pond. Cowbridge a picturesque market town situated in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan. Porthcawl boasting two Blue flag beaches, Rest Bay and Trecco Bay. The Mcarthur Glen Shopping outlet at Bridgend for those wishing to enjoy a day shopping with a lazy lunch. Swansea and Cardiff easily accessible.

The accommodation is arranged on one level and offers ONE bedroom: zip-and-link (which can be twin upon request). Shower room: with WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with TV and DVD. Kitchen area well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Regret no pets. Outside: an enclosed garden with seating to the rear of the cottage. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Additional Information: lockable bike storage also available. Location: pubs within walking distance. Arrival: 3pm

This is a beautifully presented property and a credit to Helen and Steve for the effort they have made in creating such a delightful cottage. It is not until you stay in this cottage that you become fully aware of just how special it is and the level of appointments provided.

Second visit, I love it here, direct access to the Nature Reserve & fabulous walking routes. The cottage is immaculate, clean, has everything you could wish for, the bed is super comfy and the shower is real home comfort. Helen & Steve leave a generous welcome pack, and it seems every detail is attended to. We will be back!

A lovely restored cottage with all mod cons, very welcoming owners and a nice little welcome pack of essentials. The cottage is located within 100m of a very nice pub which does great food and 300m the other direction is another nice pub which also does great food. Across the road is a nature reserve with lots of dunes and a lake with bird hides.

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage, with friendly owners adjacent. We enjoyed visits to the Brecons and the Gower from here. Lots of bird life and rabbits to watch from the cottage.

This property definitely deserves the 5 star rating. The owners had made sure everything was available and the welcome pack was thoughtful. Everything was spotless with cleaning products available to give a mid week clean to the property. We would certainly consider staying in the property again.
