Lovely cottage with everything you could possibly need for a holiday. The cleanest and best kept cottage we've stayed in. Appreciated the little touches (welcome pack, board games, DVDs, local area and history books). Loved being so close to the canal - lots to sit and watch or enjoy a towpath walk. Handy village shop which is open late and the BriRead moredge pub does good food and is very reasonable. Friendly locals. Hide

Lovely cottage, right on the canal. Spotted a heron on one of my many walks along the towpath. Very convenient to major roads. Well stocked local shop.

Cariad cottage is in a good location for walks and seeing the Abergavenny area. Excellent standard of cleanliness, and very well equipped even down to the O/S maps. Upstairs a little cramped but, we soon got used to it, not sure if it would be suitable for elderly or less mobile guests.

Cosy and comfortable living space with everything provided to have an enjoyable holiday. It is right on the canal bank so it's lovely to sit outside with a coffee on a warm afternoon to watch the canal boats go past. Headroom could be a challenge for tall people because of the sloping ceiling in the double room.

A lovely well equipped cottage in a wonderful location. (Probably not ideal for really tall people, as the ceiling slope in the bedroom would be awkward.)
