An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with exceptional walking, mountain biking and local hacking, you can go for miles undisturbed by traffic with bridleways linking Welshmoor Common and Llanrhidian Marsh to the stunning beaches at Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs Bay. Superb area for wildlife watching with wild ponies, birds and sea life. Visit Weobley and Oxwich Castles, The Gower Heritage Centre, the National Botanic Gardens of Wales or head to the dry ski slope in Wales at Pembrey Country Park. Discover coastal city Swansea with a range of shops, culinary delights, water sports, activities, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery and the National Waterfront Centre.

This welcoming property has stylish rooms, wonderful views and all the thoughtful little extras. The front door opens into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with patio doors leading out to the garden. The kitchen area has all the equipment you need to rustle up a delicious meal with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table is the perfect setting to enjoy a meal, play a game of cards and plan your days activities. In the lounge area, relax on the comfortable sofa, read a book or snuggle up and watch a film on the TV/DVD. Upstairs, the spacious bedroom has a king-size bed. Take time to unwind in a bubble bath or take an invigorating shower in the elegant bathroom with shower over bath, WC and views over the garden and beyond.

The property, on the edge of the courtyard with livery, ménage and stable yard, has an enclosed garden at the rear, just perfect to enjoy alfresco dining on the patio with table and chairs or relax and appreciate the views over Cefn Bryn and rolling countryside. You can also take a dip in the private hot tub and savour the views. If you are keen on cycling there is a lockable bicycle store and for those keen on riding the owner can offer a range of activities, further information is available from the owner. There is ample parking available at the property.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

Excellent friendly welcoming host. Enclosed rear grassed area at the cottage for safe access for dogs. Very comfortable, spacious and well thought out, homely environment. Property at the foot of the common, short drive away to walk dogs. Access to a variety of dog friendly beaches . A great Welsh friendly welcome awaits you in the Gower area. Crickton Farm Cottage is a cosy, comfortable home from home. We felt really welcome, and settled in easily. The owner is approachable and helpful, and has a wealth of local knowledge. It is a very dog-friendly place, and the footpath that passes the edge of the farm leads straight to some wonderful walks.

The cottage was well located for access to several beaches and a caravan holiday park where you could use the restaurant and play facilities for children. There are local shops and a garage within a short drive.

The accommodation was excellent. The cottage was on a farm specialising in livery. It was interesting seeing all the horses and having discussions with the farmer on the care and support of the animals.

Lovely comfy cottage. Bed and hot tub a delight. Lovely views to Cefn Bryn. The owner and family are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you like dogs and horses then this is the place to be. Coastline amazing.

The cottage was lovely, the owner, his entire family, dogs and also clients were all very friendly and helpful. The location was not only beautiful, but was ideally situated for any of the beaches on the Gower. Other Gower residents were all so friendly and had a good selection of dog friendly pub and cafes.
