The walk through snug area is beyond the kitchen and is a tranquil spot to relax with a good book. There is a single bedroom with sleigh bed, armchair and TV.

Outside there is a lovely, enclosed patio garden with sunny aspect, table and chairs for alfresco dining. Head through a gate to a shared garden with hot tub and BBQ. There is ample roadside parking available.

Property just as described and we found it easily enough. It suited our purpose in visiting family and friends in nearby Barri and Cardiff, easy access to both.

A beautiful property in a peaceful location. Lovely touch of bottled milk delivered every couple of days. The property is nicely decorated with some gorgeous artwork and thoughtful soft furnishings such as blankets and cushions. The one downside is the lounge, very small and not a place to relax in front of the tv in the evening, the TVs being onlyRead more in the bedrooms. Overall a very pleasant stay. Hide

This is a wonderful little cottage, great attention has been put into making it not only beautiful visually but warm and comfortable with lovely fixtures and fittings. There were lots of lovely touches such as milk in the fridge and a cold sparkling juice. It was also very clean. There is a small yard to sit in and a hot tub to use if you desire. Owner very nice and helpful. Cottage warm even in winter. Local shop and post office within easy walk. Transport links to Cardiff generally good.

I would definitely recommend this cottage. It was very clean and very cosy. The hot tub was a fantastic added bonus. The host Andrew was really welcoming and friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations for some lovely food and walks along the cliffs. There isnt a lot in st Athans itself, but it is close to some lovely little towns. CowbridgRead moree in particular was lovely for a few drinks and a meal. Hide

Smaller than we imagined but luckily we were out a lot. Missed not having a lounge to sit and watch tv. A microwave would have been useful. Otherwise very clean and well equipped.

Beautiful cottage with absolutely everything needed for a relaxing break., the owners live on site and were very helpful with recommendations for local pubs/restaurants. We loved it!

The cottage is beautifully decorated, and the owners friendly and helpful. The long country or coastal walks are a drive away but are stunning. We were only in Wales 3 days so did 3 of the walks ( the guides are in the cottage and easy to follow) The local pub is a disappointment as a boozer rather than a nice pub you can go and have a glass of winRead moree. The owners recommended a couple of lovely pubs that allow dogs however. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this cottage. Hide
