A former iron workers cottage set just off the road, looking out towards a lovely rural landscape. Character features and handily placed to enjoy the sights and sounds of West Wales.

The Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire border provides a host of stunning opportunities for those looking to enjoy an active and varied holiday. Pretty villages and towns such as Narberth with its eclectic mix of shop and restaurants are a short drive away and ideal for some more discerning retail therapy. History lovers have a plethora of castles to choose from including Manorbier, Carew and Laugharne which is just six miles, to name but a few. The coast offers plenty for water-sport enthusiasts with lovely beaches and picturesque harbours within 15 miles. Popular attractions such as Oakwood theme park and Folly Farm provide fun for all ages before heading home to your rural retreat.

Enter into the cottage through the rear door to reveal a deceptively spacious double height lounge/diner, with beautiful exposed stone walls, with original forge chimney, wood burner effect electric fire, comfy leather sofa and chair and a Smart TV. The dining area has a table and chairs and looks towards the garden. The room is dominated by a spiral staircase that leads up to the galleried double bedroom, very cosy and warm but does have restricted height around the bed itself. There is a simply furnished kitchen with gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Also on the ground floor is the large bathroom with shower over bath and WC. A good sized cottage for a couple, looking to explore a beautiful part of West Wales.

Outside there is ample private off-road parking to the side of the property, a small patio area with table and chairs and a shared garden with lawn, looking out to the fields beyond.

A nice cosy cottage to relax in a quiet location that is close to local attractions.

Must accept that the spiral staircase leads to the only bedroom, which has low beams. Then the bathroom is downstairs, so a bit inconvenient in the night! However the owners were very friendly and helpful. A good location for exploring the area, but always a drive to the coast. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and were comfortable and warm.
