A simply wonderful setting for a cottage holiday. Blessed with pretty lanes to take you to the local beaches starting at just a mile or so away, the Aberfelin Bay is a delight with a sand and shingle beach, revealing an archway at low tide, which is perfect for exploring. Approach the cottage via a few external steps up to the lovely decked area, with glass bi-folding doors into the fabulous sun room. This is a perfect spot to sit back, relax and gaze at the evening sunsets. This room leads into the cosy lounge with charming exposed stone walls and a wood burner immediately grabbing your attention. Comfortable sofas frame the room and there is a TV and DVD, this space is open-plan with the kitchen/diner and makes this a supremely friendly and inviting space. The contemporary kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. There are two ground floor bedrooms, a pretty double and a twin. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower and WC. The A-frame beams hint that there is more to be discovered and there is a wonderful second galleried lounge, known as a crog loft, where you can sit and relax with a good book and enjoy the rural outlook with coastline beyond.

This is a charming property which is relatively easy to find. The living room/dining room area is nice, but the best room is the sun room on the back of the house. The bedrooms are small but adequate and the kitchen area could do with a little more worktop space as preparing food isn't easy on such small surfaces. ideal starting point for hiking and biking, the Celtic trail so close is really inviting for cycling trips to the beautiful coastline. We will definitely come back to this region.

We loved this cottage, dogs included. We were the first to use the new addition of the beautifully built sunroom and veranda a real plus. Perfect location for walking and access to the coastal path. Centrally located for St Davids & Fishguard. Well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely come back in the future.
