Stunning five-star ground-floor apartment sleeping two guests, situated just yards from the coast path at beautiful Machynys Bay, just outside the Carmarthenshire town of Llanelli.

This property enjoys a fantastic location just a few hundred yards from Machynys Bay in South Wales. In fact, there is direct access to the coast path from the property, allowing guests to easily enjoy miles of breath-taking waterfront walks with stunning sea views. It is also a great choice for cyclists too, as the 13-mile long Millennium Coast Cycle Path is also just minutes away, allowing visitors to easily cycle into the neighbouring town of Llanelli, where there is an interesting range of attractions including Parc Howard Museum and Gallery, the Millennium Coastal Park Discovery Centre, and a WWT Wetland Centre.

This ground-floor apartment offers stylish five-star accommodation just a stone’s throw from the seafront. Upon arrival, guests come first to the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, a beautifully light-filled room, thanks to the large patio doors which open onto the property’s patio. A corner sofa gives guests plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sea views, or maybe watch a film on the TV/DVD. A dining table seating four sits between the lounge and the kitchen area, which is a well-equipped space offering an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. The property has one bedroom: a restful double room, next to which there is a contemporarily-styled bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC.

Patio doors from the lounge lead out to a pleasant patio area with garden furniture, which is a great spot for gazing out to sea and enjoying the fresh sea air. There is off-road parking provided for one car, and guests also have access to a storage room which can be used for outdoor equipment such as bikes and canoes.

Not a lively holiday resort. More a peaceful retreat with lovely views and walks along the estuary. Recommend the wild fowl and wetlands trust if you like ducks. Also the Gower Heritage centre, Kidwelly castle for a real castle ruin. So much to do without travelling too far. The apartmentwas clean, comfortable, well equipped and well situated.

The apartment was very comfortable and a good size (not pokey and claustrophobic). It had fabulous views - and stunning sunsets over the sea! We loved having breakfast on the patio in the warm weather. It was in a great position for walking and cycling along the Millenium coastal path. Shops were close by too. A great choice!

A good location for views over Loughor Estuary, which makes it possible to watch amazing sunsets over the river. On coastal path, so easy leisure walking or cycling. Easy access to beach - but this is not a beach for bathing. Also dog walkers and cyclists park right outside the flat, so not always quiet. Excellent directions to the property and shoRead moreps from the owners, very helpful recommendations of use of french windows to bring in luggage. You need a car (or bicycle) to access any shops. Comfortable, very clean, modern flat with great views and good location for walking and exploring further afield.

Very comfortable well equipped and clean. Perfect for access straight onto the South Wales coastal path which is also a cycle route. Also not far from the Wetlands Trust if you fancy a visit to see the wildlife there. You can walk along the coastal path approx. 45 mins depending on how fast you walk! If not it's a short drive.
