STUNNING COASTAL LOCATION AT FORMER LIGHTHOUSE KEEPERS COTTAGE (SLEEPS 6+1)

A wonderful character cottage, refurbished in 2016 in a charming rustic style, offering a breathtaking holiday venue. This is a real home from home which combines coastal themes along with a cosy atmosphere both inside and outside, making it an ideal destination any time of the year.

With a lighthouse for your neighbour, the sea dominates this location. Sitting on the coastal path and with fields to the rear, this cottage enjoys the best of both worlds. Historic Mill Bay the landing place of Henry Tudor, is just a short walk and offers a sandy beach and rock pools. Dale, just two miles, is a delightful spot with fishing, boating, kayaking, shops and restaurants to enjoy. The market town of Haverfordwest is 12 miles and the smallest city St Davids, with stunning cathedral, is worth a visit being just 15 miles away. Pembrokeshire is blessed with super beaches such as West Dale 3 miles, Marloes 5 miles and Broad Haven 6 miles.

The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double, 1 double with cot and en-suite bath and WC and 1 triple bunk bedroom, all with sea views. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC, on the ground floor. Lounge: with open fire, TV and DVD. Dining room: with open fire. Kitchen: with aga, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Utility room: with washing machine. Outside: enclosed patio garden with table and chairs, pizza oven, BBQ and kennel run for dog. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Additional info: rod room with dryer and fridge/freezer and some outdoor pursuit’s equipment, also storage for bikes. Location: shop and pub 2 miles and beach within walking distance.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

The cottage was wonderful to stay in for a week. Set under a lighthouse and overlooking the sea, we were blessed with incredible weather and had amazing views of wonderful coastline. The spot is very isolated and peaceful but within close driving distance of wonderful beaches like Broad Haven and Newgale. This is an absolute fantastic place, the location is superb and the cottage itself is well equipped, to a very high standard. Highlight was the Aga oven which I always wanted to try out. Can't wait to visit again.

Wonderful unique location where you really get to understand the elements a lighthouse keeper and his family lived with. Wonderful and remote location with views to die for! Next to a working lighthouse which a beautiful of an evening. Furnished beautifully with home touches such as fresh bread, bowl of washing tabs and fishing rods. Upstairs room faith cot has a rocking chair and ensure. Comfortable, thoughtfully renovated, furnished and equipped cottage. Everything seemed to have been provided. Even the telescope and binoculars to view the stunning coastline and surrounding scenery!

This was the best holiday cottage we have stayed in !
