If you are looking for a bolthole in the country, with a warming wood burner and hot tub then this pretty cottage should fit the bill. Well positioned for pleasant walks in a relaxing environment.

A blissful, rural location, yet close to a range of attractions and facilities. There are stunning walks from your door and the added benefit of two miles of fishing rights on the magnificent River Cothi. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is close by and a great day out. The market town of Llandeilo, with a host of independent shops and eateries is seven miles and offers an interesting selection of antique shops and galleries. Head further afield and the coastline meets a rich history at Llansteffan, with an imposing castle overlooking the beach. Pembrey and Machynys are both within twenty miles and offer wide expanses of sand, country parks and access to the Millennium Coastal Path.

Enter this spacious cottage into the open-plan kitchen/diner, a bright and airy space with bags of charm to instantly relax you into the holiday spirit. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area leads on to the character lounge with sofas framing the wonderful wood burner set against the exposed stone wall. There is a DAB radio/docking station to help you set the mood for a cosy evening in by the fire or sit back and relax in front of the TV/DVD, French doors open onto the outside area at the rear of the property. There is also a ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and WC. From the lounge, head up an impressive wooden staircase to the beautiful mezzanine king-size bedroom, that overlooks the lounge, and there is a separate WC on this floor too. This is a romantic cottage, ideal for an escape to the country, mixing a practical, contemporary interior with character features and excellent facilities.

Outside, there is a private enclosed patio area with rattan furniture and a wonderful private hot tub that is for your exclusive use. There is off-road parking for one car.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

This cottage is fab!! Great location for star gazing and bird watching. Really really relaxing. Simon and Karen are absolutely fabulous. Countryside, coast and cute towns for shopping all accessible with a car. Lots of wonderful walks and cycling nearby too.

A wonderful second visit to Teifi Cottage. Charming and welcoming hosts, peace and quiet and watching red kites by day and bats by night, pure bliss. Location is perfect for the national botanical gardens and aberglasney. We've already booked our third visit.

Teifi Cottage was perfect for our bank holiday weekend away, the location was so peaceful and picturesque. Seaside was not too far away so that we could take the dog during the day, and then relax in the cottage at night time. We had a very warm welcome from Karen, who showed us around this beautiful cottage. The welcome hamper was packed full of goodies, plus essentials, tea coffee, milk , butter, bread and fresh eggs- Thank you. This is an absolute gem of a retreat in the Welsh hills. Carmarthen is around 15/20 mins drive away where there are plenty of shops but we thoroughly enjoyed being far enough away from urban living, 100% perfect place for some R&R. The quality of the cottage is 5*+ ! Every little detail is thought of. A fab get away from it all. Warmly welcomed and shown around the cottage. Very well equipped and all the necessities catered for with the added luxury of a hamper a Welsh of goodies, chilled prosecco and fresh eggs from farm chickens. The cottage is wonderful: in a quiet, remote location thats still an easy drive from a number of lovely gardens, farm shops, and restaurants. The place is very clean, spacious for a couple, and has a well-equipped kitchen.
