A lovely coastal retreat, styled with a nautical theme complimented with traditional features, set in lovely village. Well placed for families or a couples break in a friendly spot any time of year.

Delightful terraced cottage laying at the heart of the quaint estuary village of St Dogmaels. Pubs, shops and cafe, set along the pretty river, are a short walk from your door. Under two miles to the sandy beach at Poppit Sands with access to the coastal path. Cardigan, with its feature castle and eclectic mix of establishments, is a short drive by car or bus. Coastal lovers will marvel at seaside villages in either direction, providing boat trips and plenty of wildlife watching too. Close to the Preseli Mountains, a must for walkers, with many attractions nearby such as Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort, Cardigan Island Farm Park, Vale of Rheidol Railway and the Cors Caron Nature Reserve.

Enter into the welcoming cottage via hallway which has a doorway to the generous, contemporary lounge with ample seating, TV and DVD. Further along to the open-plan kitchen/diner. This well-equipped space has an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. There is access to outside space from this room. Up a flight of stairs to the first floor where there is pretty master double bedroom with a glimpse of the Teifi River, a bunk bedroom and the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Up the narrow cottage stairs to the second floor there is a sweet twin bedroom (with restricted headheight) and lovely views of the abbey, mill and river.

Outside there is a charming enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. Useful to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or to leave kayaks and boards for the more energetic. Street parking 20 yards, although you can unload the car outside the cottage. Additional car park 100 yards with residents permit provided.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

This is an exceptional property. Not only is it in a picturesque village but it's near great dog walking. The house itself is immaculate & welcoming. It has everything you need for a holiday, well thought out and so clean. The owner is welcoming & very approachable. It's the best holiday cottage we've ever rented.

Lovely cottage on the edge of the village. Walking distance to Abbey/Coachouse, pub with home cooked food, shops. 10 min drive to Cardigan / Poppit Sands. Ideal for a relaxing break.

The cottage was all we could have wanted, everything had been thought off. Perfect location for Poppet Sands, Cardigan and visiting other areas of Wales. 3 lovely bedrooms with everything required, large living room with very comfortable sofa and chair. Wow. What an amazing property. Exceptionally clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated to a high, modern standard with a wonderful mix of old and new and is much larger than the photographs on the website. This is a great property,bigger than you think. It was well equipped and had all we needed. Great position in St Dogmaels , can walk to shops, pub and river. Very dog friendly area, 5 mins from the beach. Would definately recommend it.
