This sweet semi-detached cottage sits on a picturesque bridle way, on the idyllic river bank at Cresswell Quay. With exposed beams and the water babbling past your window this is ideal to relax and unwind yet only a short distance from the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.

Cresswell Quay is a pretty tidal hamlet, with a local quayside inn that is the focal point for boats and is just around the corner. The Pembrokeshire coastal path runs just at the end of the driveway, making this a popular spot for walkers and nature lovers. For the more energetic guests, kayaks can be launched from the grounds. Historic Carew castle is just 2 miles. Many attractions for the younger at heart are within 5 miles including Heatherton Country Park, Manor House Zoo, Folly Farm and Wales’ largest theme park, Oakwood. Tenby and Saundersfoot are 7 miles away. Leisure facilities: kayaking.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: on the first floor, 1 twin. On the ground floor, 1 double. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC, on the ground floor. Lounge: with woodburner, TV and DVD. Kitchen/diner: with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Outside: rear patio with table and chairs and shared river bank. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome. Location: beach 7 miles, shop 5 miles and pub within walking distance.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A beautiful location especially for birdwatchers. We saw kingfishers, gold finch, bull finch, a pair of nesting swans and a mother duck with eight tiny ducklings. There was a bottle of wine and welsh cakes to greet us on arrival. Everyone was very friendly

It was a wonderful escape - lovely welcome gifts of wine and welsh cakes and great location! Right next to river and we had visiting swans daily. Walking distance to lovely local pub - just heavenly!!!

Good value cottage in a fab location for visiting Pembrokeshire. Dog friendly with plenty of places to walk right on doorstep. Worth noting that the pub within walking distance doesnt do food or accept card payments!

Lovely quaint mill cottage located right next to a river in remote quiet area of Pembrokeshire near Carew Castle. It was perfect to switch off from a busy world over Xmas.

Lovely cottage in a fabulous spot. No wifi and very poor mobile phone signal makes it perfect for a get-away-from-it-all holiday.

The property itself was pretty and set in a beautiful location, the owners didn't introduce themselves in person (which would have been nice for some local knowledge) but did leave a welcome card and bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the place wasn't great, plenty of aged cobwebs, dirt behind all furniture anRead mored mould in the bathroom and master bedroom... Hide

A nice cottage in a fantastic location. So much to see & do in the area & lots of fabulous beaches. We had a lovely family staying in Watermill House next door with a child same age as ours so that was perfect!. Be aware there is no washing machine or line so pack accordingly!. Owners are 2 doors away if needed & left a note with Tea/Coffee/BiscuitRead mores/wine for our arrival. We had a great holiday! Hide

This is a lovely little cottage in a really pretty, quiet, location. It has everything we needed for a one week stay. There is no phone signal or free WiFi, which would have been OK except we needed to communicate with family in Tenby. The house was clean and tidy.

A great location away from the main tourist areas. My husband especially liked the real ale pub five minutes walk away! If you like paddling in sit ons this was literally on your doorstep.
