One of four converted barns on the picturesque Cleddau estuary - great for families and nature lovers.

Approached via a lane that leads to the estuary foreshore with a slipway for boating enthusiasts, this character barn is the perfect picturesque retreat. It’s located on the edge of Hundleton, with the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path running nearby. There are a whole host of stunning sandy beaches within a 15 minute drive, such as West Angle Bay, Broad Haven South and Freshwater East. The barn has been converted with character exposed beams and updated with a contemporary interior finish. It’s spacious, providing plenty of room for the whole family. The kitchen/diner is well equipped, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. You’ll also find one of the twin bedrooms on the ground floor, as well as the shower room which has a shower and WC. Upstairs is a double bedroom with a TV and another twin, plus a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside is an enclosed garden with furniture at the rear, so you can make the most of the countryside views. Perhaps dine alfresco or enjoy a drink as the sun sets. Or relax on the shared open lawn to the front of the property with its river view. There’s also ample parking at the property.

The Beech Cottage was surprising spacious and in our opinion one of the best situated of the four. All home comforts are included such as large fridge freezer, oven and microwave, along with all utensils and cooking pans/dishes you would require. The TV is acceptable size with full freeview. WiFi is practically non-existent so if you need Internet Read morewe recommend using 4g network for personal hotspots which worked well on EE and O2 networks in the cottage. You cant get closer to coastal path Hide

The property was well-cleaned and tidy, and equipment sufficient for our needs. We ate in for our meals and we appreciated the dishwasher and the tablets for it! The wifi is, as the owners had forewarned in the guestbook, not consistent. But then, it is a getaway break, so it's not that big a deal to be disconnected once in a while!
