The village of Upton Lovell lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Wylye Valley, overlooking the water meadows with the Salisbury Plains as a backdrop. Ideal for enthusiastic walkers, riders and cyclists, who are well served by the many miles of footpaths, bridle paths and cycle ways available right on the doorstep. Further afield though within easy access are Salisbury, Bath, Stonehenge, Longleat, Wells, Bradford on Avon, Langford Lakes nature reserve, even enjoy a spa day at Centre Parks, shopping at the designer outlet Kilver Court and much more. Upton Lovell, on the banks of the Wylye, has a farm shop and gallery promoting local artisan’s work. The accommodation offers one double bedroom. Shower room with shower and WC. Comfortable lounge/kitchen/diner with sofabed and TV/DVD, and French windows leading out into the lovely gardens. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Outside you will find a raised patio area with table and chairs, lawn area and flower beds with open aspect onto the meadow. There is ample parking, and extra guests can stay in the shepherd’s hut in the garden for a small extra charge. A lovely property, well laid out with good accommodation for sitting, cooking and sleeping. Looks out over a lovely garden and paddock in a quiet location. Perfect for two. Accomodation all on one floor and easy to get around for those less mobile - and Jackie is an attentive and welcoming host.

The cottage had very up to date amenities. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of cupboard and draw space. Parking was easy and off road. The shop was about five minutes drive away and very well stocked. No problems with the Wifi.

Lovely comfortable cottage. Ideal location for Warminster and Salisbury. The cottage backs on to fields with two friendly horses. Local pub 'The Prince Leopold' has an idyllic riverside setting and tasty pub grub. We recommend bookkng as it is very popular. Jackie will offer to book for you. We want to go back again it's that good.

We arrived on Sunday, greeted and shown around and then left to get on with our holiday - everything was spotless and they had clearly thought of every eventuality we were very impressed. There are two dogs living in the house adjoining and they were adorable, we love dogs and really enjoyed their visits. There is so much to do in the surrounding aRead morerea that we needed a lot more time there, this was a short trip but we will go back. Hide

We went for a complete rest which is what we achieved. Ideal for anyone wanting to relax and completely chill out. Good area for walking. Local pub excellent food. Longleat is close but if you want theatres and entertainment this is not the area for you. Owner and local people very friendly and helpful.
